In 2004 I began my degree in Ayurvedic medicine. On completion in 2007, I spent six months in India interning in Ayurvedic clinics in Mangalore as well as training at Alvas teaching hospital in Moodbidri, Karnataka. Each year since then, I continue ongoing professional development and have spent some time under the tutelage of my dear teachers and mentors in India, as well as attending training with world renowned Ayurvedic professionals in the UK.

Since qualifying in 2008, I started with my own part-time practice, and began work at Ayurveda Pura in 2012 as a full-time practitioner and therapist under Dr Deepa Apte for three years. Since leaving till present, I have set up Ayushi based in Dulwich, south London. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Ayurvedic medicine from Manipal Ayurvedic University of Europe. I have also completed a 200 hour hatha yoga teacher qualification.

My journey towards Ayurveda began with a quest for balance in my own life. I was born in India but have lived in the UK since the age of 2. I trained as a dancer from a young age, and became aware of how we can use movement as a way to alleviate stress and focus the mind. Shortly after I began to explore movement in other ways and turned to yoga in order to connect on a deeper, more meaningful level.

In my exploration of self through the ancient science of yoga, I became more curious about our connection between mind and body. Through this I came across its sister science of Ayurveda.

I am honoured and humbled to be of service to my clients and strive to continuously update my professional education in Ayurveda and it's related fields.
