In 2004 I began my degree in Ayurvedic medicine. On completion in 2007, I spent six months in India interning in Ayurvedic clinics in Mangalore as well as training at Alvas teaching hospital in Moodbidri, Karnataka. Each year since then, I continue ongoing professional development and spend some time under the tutelage of my dear teachers and mentors in India, as well as attending training with world renowned Ayurvedic professionals in the UK.

Since qualifying in 2008, I have worked in Ayurvedic clinics in London as a full time  practitioner. I went part time after the birth of my second child and have since set up Ayushi, based from my home in Dulwich, south London. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Ayurvedic medicine from Manipal Ayurvedic University of Europe. I have also completed a 200 hour hatha yoga teacher qualification.

My journey towards Ayurveda began with a quest for balance in my own life. Through dance training I became aware of how we can use movement as a way to alleviate stress and focus the mind. This led me to explore movement and the mind body connection ever more meaningful ways and I turned to yoga.

My journey of exploration through yoga, led me to its sister science of Ayurveda. It has allowed me to understand not only my own nature with compassion, but also that of others and our connection to the macrocosm.  I have been a humble student and practitioner of Ayurveda ever since.

I am honoured to be of service to my clients and strive to update my professional education in Ayurveda and its related fields.
